When I was stationed in Spain, I thought to bring a Santana Land rover
home. I could have done it, but you have to post a bond at the port
that you will have a list of required changes done before they let you
register it. Such as replace the side doors, all the glass, and pretty
much rebuild the motor and exhaust system. They didn't seem to choke
about rhd though.

Just didn't have the money to pull it together...and besides, pre-1975
Army landrovers were available in the UK for 2,000 pounds then.

(sigh) maybe one day....

Hi All,
There are 2 Land Rovers in the latest Auto Locator eastern PA edition.
75 Series III Landrover 2wd softrop dual gas tanks LHD ex Belgian Army.
86k $6000 less motor. 1 other available w/28k.
Think thats a little steep? My son and I guessed that they were imported
and the EPA /FHWSA nixed the deal. A little too new?
It's a shame they should have been shipped back to where someone could
use them. Do you really think someone is dumb enough to buy
these at this price? And what about the 2wd did they order Landy's
this way?
Thanks
Mike
