[MV] Weasel and weasels at DMV /Insurance

Washstate Dpt Lic wanted to register my 42 GPW as a "passenger car"
type "jeep" I TOLD THEM NO WAY! I proceeded to show them my US
GOVERNMENT ISSUED MANUAL that specifically says "1/4 TON TRUCK" and I
wanted to put 1942 truck plates on it too. They called the State Patrol
in Olympia - a sargent, and he said if that is what the US Gov says it
is than that's what it is. I won both rounds. If you have a manual
that calls it a truck tn use it. But if you can't drive it legally on
the road (except parades under special permits) than its a tractor and
insure it as such. Insurance Co.'s (ALL OF THEM) will try to weasel out
of paying a claim no mater what u do - legal - questionable or
otherwise. They are a bunch of crooks (my very experienced opinion) and
are only interested in YOUR money anyway. Later, Dirt Man
