I've hardly failed to notice the large amount of mail on this subject
recently. Obviously a source for concern, I know nothing about import/export
or customs or controls etc... however I can offer you the phone number of a
chap here in the UK who's willing to offer his services to anyone having

He's currently not on the internet.
He used to work for a company in the UK called Martin-Baker ... they make
ejector seats and other military supplies - his job was to organise the
import and export of military hardware world-wide.
I cannot vouch for his skills, having never had the need to use them,
however he may or may not prove useful.
