Vittorio,
I once got hold of a gallon can of stuff called Preserv-O. I tried to get more
from the fellow that had it, but he didn't have any. I wrote to the company,
but never got an answer. This stuff was good because it helped waterproof
also preserve the canvas. I just sprayed it on with my paint spray gun.
Maybe you can find some. If anybody on the List knows where it can be
obtained, I'd appreciate knowing.
