I am planning to put markings on my 42 Ford GPW to match WWII 2nd Ranger
battalion as would be correct for D-Day and the days to follow. Does anyone
have or know where to find photos of this unit or any other Ranger unit in
combat theater of Normandy, June 1944? Photos would of course be most
helpful, but sending me books or your personal photos may not be practical,
so if you could merely describe the markings, weoponry, radios, personal
gear and any nicknames would be a huge help!
