After removing the sticker by heat or other means, the stickum can be
readily removed with Ronson Lighter Fluid, which is naptha. This should not
harm anything underneath. I keep a bottle at the house and shop for removing
stickum from price tags, etc.; it doesn't attack plastic either. I wouldn't
be caught without it.
