Ron,
Your episode is similar to mine when 3 weeks ago, I stopped to see an APC on
the back of a large, multi-wheeled trailer (obviously on its way to being
delivered to some collector) containing a 'beautiful' military vehicle. She
had no idea what interest I could possibly have in the old thing. I wasn't
even on her radar scope to understand a guys interest in these machines. Oh
well, I'm still hoping to get an M37 at the convention in San Jose in June.
Mike D.

M37 soon

Subject: [MV] Trailered Ferret

Hi List:
On Monday morning about 0900 in Lowell , Ma. on Interstate
495 north I saw a really nice Ferret in woodland camo and a reddish brown
Mercedes sedan, both on a flatbed, go blowing by. Anyone know where it was
going?
BTW... Wife wants to know why I should almost kill the
family by driving off the road while looking over shoulder at MV going in
other direction. Answer " It's a guy thing " doesn't seem to satisfy her.
Then again all the OD lawn art doesn't seem to impress her either. Their
sense of humor escapes me too. She put 4 Geraniums on the hood of my INOP
M38A1 Saturday , saying that it functions like a boat out of water ( hole u
pour money into ) but beats bending over to repot plants. <sigh> Women...
