When I bought my tag for my M35A2 (2 1/2 ton) in Mississippi I was told
a
farm tag (F tag) would only be good for farm produce. If you hauled
anything
else you had to get a commercial tag (C tag). I didn't research it and
it
doesn't make sense because farmers haul equipment and other stuff all
the
time as real farm business. I have put C tags on my M1010's (CUCV
ambulance)
and my '98 GMC dually also. You don't have to pull much weight at all
to get
over !0,000 pounds. I have the M35A2 insured with farm bureau as a farm

truck as well as the ambulances.
