I have a 3200 psi 4 gpm 13hp pressure washer and it will take the paint off if
you go very slowly and hold it very close. Look out on wood...

It will also streak the paint holding if held farther away (like just trying
to clean something).

With paint stripper... WOW

Be prepared to have someone hold the gun though so that you can walk into the
spray from a safe distance to get the Methyl Chloride off as it gets mighty
uncomfortable after a while. The pressure disapates with distance very fast.
Purchase only a gasoline driven one. Mine has a 13 hp Honda motor on it.

I usually use stripper with the sprayer and sandblast only when rust
parts/areas are encountered.
