Hi Jedi's :
Pretty recently, In a back yard not so far, far away.....

Know someone out there is just waiting to help. The Force is strong
here.. Questions follow:

1) Anyone know when Kaiser/AMC made changes to the 134 in F head
that would not allow a CJ5 Long or Short block to be put in an M38A1
(1953 Willy's)? Or Did they leave well enough alone from the start.
Earliest F head Engine that PEP Boys shows in their block book is a
1966. Would this work without major mods or lots of make dos?

2) Any MV vendors out there specialize in 134 F head rebuilds or
long/short blocks?

3) I remember an article in Four Wheeler about 1976 on Sarafan that
showed new 134 engines in cans. Any one know of motors in cans or
crates and who vendors might be?

4) Anyone got one hanging around in the back shed taking up needed
storage space?

The missus and young un's have signed on to a trip to Aberdeen
Rally in 3 weeks ( yeah, I know --I still think I'm Dreaming ) and
wife said it's to bad I can't get one of the OD "T---S" (rhymes with
BIRD - kinda disparaging) in the yard to run cause it might make it
more interesting. SAY no more , Say no more. Wink ,Wink. Nudge ,
Nudge. Hot Iron time gents.
I am in North Eastern Massachusetts. Tax return check due any day.
Time is short -- engine in tu.. is bound up tighter than Barney Frank
could ever dream of being. So it's heart transplant time or lot's of
"Gee, My Dad has three army jeeps and a big green pick up truck 'cept
he can't get any of them to work. Mom says he only buys stuff that
come in green Pampers...)

Help me Obi Wan... Your my only hope....
