Hello list, and Julian,
Let's try this one out: We all know how important it is to each individual
on the list the importance, either personal or emotional, of collecting
military vehicles, no matter what age group we may fall in. I guess my point is,
do you really enjoy the preservation of military vehicles for your PRIDE for
your country , or your family members, or are you out for the all-mighty bucks,
( fat chance on that! ).
Let's sit back and think of all the Veterns that made our country what it is
today, and really thank them for our freedom, and the sacrifices they made for
the younger generation. I , personally don't care who young or old, who may
collect the vehicles, as long as they do it for the enjoyment and or self-
gratifacation . I , personally don't care if this only lasts for a year or ten,
but knowing while I did this, the people I affected , young (kids) or old (the
respectful Veterns and spouses& family) made them reflect on the PRIDE that
used to be for our Country.
I hope that all the negative feelings and response is far less than the
positive and hopeful out there.
Bottomline: The question is; Are we all , no matter what age, trying to
re-live or reconstruct our past in a POSITIVE way? Enough of catorgizing
the difference between Young and Old, this forum is for the restoration of
military vehicles, not the negative and disruptive. We are all trying to
read, absorb, and take in as much knowlege as we can to help each other,
in the preservation of Military Vehicles.
Remember, for (us) you youngin's, it's the wise and elder, that we learn
the most from, just sit back for once and listen without opening up your
mouths.
O.K. now I'm ready for all the negative feedback, only if you really
think I'm wrong. It's O.K. I'm a big boy.
THANKS TO ALL VETERNS,

Rick Banks
