Not just car folks can be snobby. I have been blasted for collecting M
series vehicles rather than WWII era equipment (or are painted semi-gloss OD,
or camo; all correct for the particular vehicle. This goes from being asked
to display in a seperate area to being asked not to display at all.
Fortunately, the vast majority of HMVer's don't care as long as its military,
but the ignorant are not confined to the general public, or even car
collectors.
