I've had a look at some old photo's and compared then with US bonnet number
& chassus numbers.

If I'm right this jeep GPW 102390 should be around March/April 1943 (AAW
Vol2). I have 3 reasonably clear shots of 20375520, 20393941 and 20375229
under assembly in Australia by US ground forces. These are all chassis' in
the range fo GPW 108xxx to GPW 133xxx.

The photos show: push/pull light switch, large fuel tank cap, and dimpled
grills. They have provision for jerrican holders too. Couldn't see holes for
spare tyre carrier though.

See if this info lines up with what Steve Malikoff says. Possibly look for
that hole. I'd say it's a '43.
