I spoke with a Mutt owner from Germany last year (at Beltring...... a
wonderful show) and I asked him about the cost of taxing his Mutt. He did not
seem to know about the UK's system of "NIL" road tax for vehicles over 25
years old. Does the free-tax system apply in Germany for old vehicles?
The other query is:- the M416 trailer he came with, had the towing lunette(
towing eye) removed and he had fitted a car-type tow-hitch to the trailer,
with a 50mm ball at the back of the Mutt. He said that the military
"snap-hook" towing-hook is illegal in Germany. Is that correct?
