<< What color should the implements be?(axe and spade) The ones I ordered
came with the handle in natural wood color. The spade has a black blade and
the axe has a red blade. I think they should be O.D. like the jeep. Thanks
for any information. You were the only one to say it took 3 straps to hold
the tools on thanks for the information. I had only three straps. >>
Hello Chuck...... three is correct. 2 for spade, 1 for axe.
Colours can be as follows:-
either........natural wood color with matt black metal (both axe and spade)
or:-
all olive drab (both axe and spade).
If you leave the wood natural, treat it with linseed oil, to protect it.
Please note that the axe and spade (and gas can) should NOT be painted cammo.
