[MV] M35 2 1/2 ton brakes

I've been trying to get the brakes on my 1952 Reo gas back
into operating condition. The problem is the air/hydrolic
cylinder. After bleeding the brakes they will work until
the engine is started and then when the brakes are applied
the peddle will go slowly to the floor. I assume that when
the cylinder was rebuilt one of the sealing cups was put in
backward can anyone give me an idea of which part of the
cylinder to check. I have a parts breakdown.
