[MV] New Jeep book review.

Hey List,
Just thought I would pass along some info on a new jeep book that is out
this year. For those who are new to the MVs scene you may want to take a
look at this book on jeeps as it would answer questions on the various
models.
The book is the "Illustrated Buyer"s Guide Jeep" by Jim Allen ISBN
0-7603-0299-5 soft bound retail price $17.95. This book covers every
jeep model that I know of from the very first prototype to the current
models.
Of interest to us is the 3 out of the 13 chapters dedicated to the
military jeeps. From what I know and have studied about the jeep it
appears the author has done his research and provides a lot of
information on the various models. I don't think that there is a model
not covered in this book. There are a lot of photos (sorry no color) and
current information on some recent prototype discovery and survival
numbers.
So I am not any way connected to the publisher or author. Just thought I
would pass along some info that maybe of some assistance to newcomers and
some of the old timers as well. Go check it out.
