Dear List,

Short reply on DJ 5As Postal Jeeps. I had one in the late 70's. LEFT =
HAND DRIVE. When I went to the jeep ranch at the MKE postal office down =
town 80% were LHD balance RT. I guess the RHD went faster for folks who =
deliver mailers etc... Little beastie worked great till a big bad Delta =
88 decieded to "kiss" it in 82'.

Wrong again....

Postal jeeps were built specially with right hand drive, so they could
lean out and shove all those bills in the US style letterboxes. I believe
they did RHD Subaru replacements for them for the same reason......
