The MVCC became the MVPA. Although I have this thought that there was a
breif stint of an IMVPA (I = International). The MVCC came out of another
group which I think (that's a big????) was called the MCC, maybe, don't
quote me I don't remember. But when I joined the MVCC in the late 70's I
recall people talking about the previous group/club.
