Truck you describe was fitted with a Corvair 6-cylinder 80bhp engine with 4
forward, 1reverse x 2 transmission. See photo... P339, of "Observers Military
Vehicles Directory from 1945". From the rather unstable look of this vehicle,
you can see how the actual Goat evolved.
