I am not trying to be a smart-alec but why would you convert from a very
good 24 volt system to a muchless dependable 12 volt. I have several 24
volt vehicles and they give very very little trouble related to 24 volts.
Please do not take this the wrong way but was military wrong in haveing 24
volts. To sum up why fix something that is not boken. Or is the some
advantage to 12 volts that I do not know about. We used to change or old 6
volts and use 8 volt batterys when you could still buy them but that was
done for cranking amps. They went to 12 volt - left 6 volt starter on still
only looking for cranking amp reserve.
Thanks
