80-90% of regular GM internal regulator alternators will run in one wire
mode with NO modifications! The 2 pin plug has nothing connected to it.
All alternators have a slight draw on the battery at all times. It is the
reverse current leakage in the diodes that rectify the AC that is produced
by the alternator. It is the nature of the beast. If you plan to leave your
MV sitting for a long time, disconnect the battery id it has an alternator.
