++++++++++++++++++++++++
That's the GMC version of a 6 X 6, 2 1/2 ton cargo truck. Had the 302
cu. in. six cyclinder gas engine and an automatic transmission, 4
speeds in high range and 4 speeds in low range, two reverse. It was a
hydromatic type transmission with gear drive and hydraulic shift, two
planetary gearsets with brake bands for shifting. It was similiar to
the M-135 but the 135 has single rears where the 211 has duals. Other
version have shop vans, gas or water tanks, or the dump truck, or
tractor.
