Hello everyone! I just joined this list on Sat., its GREAT!!!!!!!
I collect and restore the M-274, I have some that I would like to trace the
history ( units they were issued to, deployments,etc.) of. All I have are
the No.'s on the data plates(Manf. serial, Branch registation No.,etc.) No
unit No.'s are visible, execpt the USMC ones have black diamond on the fuel
tank with a No. inside. and USMC registration No. on sides. A guy I know who
is a retired Navy CPO told me that the Navy has a data base of all equip.
