Hello all,

I just got back from the Medina, Ohio MV rally this past weekend. Nice show,
with a good turnout. Lots of nice vehicles and the WW2 reenactors did a
great job as usual. The Allies won again.

Anyways, my main goal of attending was to fish for a jeeps for sale. I did
not have any luck. There were some nice ones (not for sale) and two really
rough ones (for sale) that I wasn't interested in. There was a truly
beautiful M38 for sale for $8,200 that had me a little tempted.

There was a gentleman there who had a very nice jeep with radio equipment
that I tried to find (he was parked up near the road), but couldn't. I
wanted to talk to him about his toy or possibly make an offer on it. He had
PA plates. If you are out there please drop me a line.

To reiterate what I'm looking for...

- Running and all major brake, steering and running gear present.
- Solid frame with little or no repairs ( re-welds from snow plows, tow
bars, etc.)
- Body solid without major mods (roll bars, tailgates etc.) if not, the
asking price should reflect cost of repairs or new new body tub.
- Combat split rims are a plus.
- It would be nice if you are located locally (Cleveland, Ohio area) but I
think I may need to broaden my horizons a bit.

I am prepared to pay a reasonable, realistic price for the right jeep. I
have spoken to a number of individuals in the hobby and they agree that my
budget will get me what I am looking for.

Please drop me a line if you have something for sale or know sombody that
does.

Thank you,

Bob Kelly
