I wish we all could stop talking about this auction and whether its true
or not and how we could buy these and figure a way to get around the off
road F 97.Remember the GSA and DRMO can read to.I have talked with the
person running this auction and this auction is going to happen and like
others I have the inventory list.Like Julian Burke I have found out this
a trial auction and if it works out there will be more.So lets all be
responsible and do this the way the GSA and DRMO wants it done.Remember
this is better then destroying them.Yes you have to be a dealer to buy
one which means you have to be a auto or truck dealer with a valid state
dealer license.Like it or not this will control how they are resold to
the general public.Think about this some fool buys one at the auction
drives it out of there hits someone kills them and guess what no more
auctions of any kind of this stuff.That could mean duces and 5 tons and
what ever.Thease will be sold to who ever buys them and will be trucked
out of there and resold in a proper manner as these dealers that buy
them don't want to loose there dealer license if they are sold for on
road use.They don't want to loose there way of making a living.
Lets all be thankful that this auction goes off well and we will see
more.This off road thing is the way to get around DOT restrictions .
