Regardles on how weel tuned-in you think you are, there will be
ALWAYS some minute amount of discrepancy in your shaft drives
rotational speeds. This is why caution plates say" "do not drive
in 4X4 on paved roads" or something to that effect...Soft,
snowy, or slippery ground will absorb the differences and spare
the wear on your driveline...
When I have a hard time unlocking transfer case on my jeep, I
rock it back & forth a couple of times, and it always frees it.
