I had someone ask about what radio works with these mounts. I should
have included that information. It works with the RT-524 and it also
works with the R-442.
RT-524 works on the MT 1029 mount
R-442 works on the MT 1898 mount
The AN/VRC-47 configuration had these 2 radios used in conjunction with
each other. You don't have to use the R-442 if you don't want to. You
can just use the RT-524 on your vehicle.
