[MV] C.J. 3B, made in India?

Hi all,

The same guy that wants to sell me the M37, has a jeep (M?), that he says
was made in India, somewhere and shipped back to the U.S.. It's a 1942
model.
It has all the original military stuff and paint, and accessories, he says.
He claims it is one of only a couple that made it here from there.
Everything is in Kilometers, and I'm not sure if it is in English or not, I
forgot to ask.
Does this sound legit? Could it be a rare bird worth looking at? If so,
what would be a good price for it, he wants to sell it, but doesn't know
much about collecting, just that mil. stuff is neat.
Any input would be appreciated, and I don't need it, so maybe someone else
would.
Also, does any one have an M37 in the area of Northern CA for sale, say
within 500 or so miles?
Thanks,
Henry
