[MV] High altitude mules (humor)

I served with the Third Squadron, HAAM, (High Altitude Attack Mules,) and we
would occasionally experience a flame out at 12000 feet and above,
especially when in a negative G outside loop. Higher was a bitch anyway due
to the lack of functional afterburners. Good rule of thumb is: If your nose
is bleeding, you're way too high.
(sorry, I just couldn't resist)
Seriously, my unit operated mules in the piedmont and central highlands areas
of Viet Nam, without difficulty. At some of those firebases the hueys didn't
even want to fly, but I recall no trouble with the mules. Watch those barrel
rolls though! ROFL!
