David is correct as far as the front bumper is concerned. The lifting
shackles are at the bumper ends (they are virtually identical to the rear
(side) shackles on an M151A2).

The other major difference is the wheel hub centers. Unlike the Army/ Air
Force version, the USMC version has a square "plug" where the other versions
have tiedown eyes with lock-rings. Some Army versions were once incorrectly
issued with the square plug, causing some consternation among army mechanics
!!!!

The USMC Public Affairs Officer recently wrote to me to confirm that the USMC
version of the MUTT did NOT have limited-slip-diffs, nor positraction devices
!!!

The "Little Green Book".... is called "The M151 Mutt and Variants", Text by
Deon Adams...ISBN 0-9651125-3-5. Published by "ARMORED CAR", Salem OR, USA.
As a "beginner's" book... it is adequate.
Hope this helps....

Kind regards..

Ken
