Hi,

These don't have pony motors. This was International's answer to the
expense of having one. They're electric start, on gas, then switched
over to run on diesel. They have spark plugs, distributer, and
carburator. Starting on gas warms the cylinders so the diesel will
burn, no glow plugs needed. Another evolutionary dinosaur.

Hand cranks are bad news. Only pull on them, don't ever push, that's
when you get your arm/head broken, thrown acrossed the farm, through
the barn, etc. If your using it to turn the engine over before trying
to start, make very sure the ignition is OFF.
