Dear Sir, Please help us. We have a CUCV 1008 that we need to sell. My
husband and son(16yrs old) bought this truck in Colorado 1 1/2 years ago
. My husband had open heart surgery and can not do the necessary work to
keep the truck in good shape. We brought it to Tulsa, Oklahoma and have
cared for it with loving hands until now. We know it needs a new CAM
after taking it to the Chev. Company here. The price to fix it is above
our means now. Our luck is not very good either. A tree limb fell and
hit the windshield and made a crack across the right side of the window.
It has new tires and many new parts under the hood. My son would kill
me if he knew I was writing to you for help. We paid $4500 for it but
are willing to negotiate a reasonable price knowing of the needed
repairs. Please let me know if there is anyone who wants this truck.
The people we bought it from replaced the motor but did not replace the
cam. I thank you for your time and trouble. short10@mindspring.com
