Only the early Chevrolet panels said "Chevrolet on them"

As far as I know, there are no serial numbers on the frames. I have looked
and the manuals I have (5 of them) do not mention a sn like the GMC manuals
do.

If the truck has a civy instrument cluster as one module as opposed to round
gauges, it would be a 1940-41 "Y" model chevy, otherwise is is a "Z" or "N"
model.
