Verry interesting! Has anybody seen one of these, up close? How's
the quality? What kinds of problems can you expect in titling a kit
car based on military components? Will M151 engines pass EPA
scrutiny? What will my insurance company think of it?
In case you haven't seen the web-page(s), the unit in question is a
kit using M151 components with a new, all-steel body, for $7500 and
up. Some accessories seem pretty expensive... new rag-top +
side-curtains cost neary $1,000. Bestop should be able to beat that.
