I have also seen sometimes the addition of a sort of "brush
guard" made of a piece of flat stock bolted at the rear of the
left body handle and tapering towards the outside of the Antenna
base. Not sure whether it was welded to the base or just bolted
on. Undoubtedly a field mod made at unit level...
Some CarryAlls had it too.
