The 1Sgt.s request about the paint brought something to mind. I've
painted several US vehicles in the last two years in the 3 color Nato paint
scheme. I know a lot of folks don't like Aervoe-Pacific paint, but I have
been using these three colors and can't tell hardly any difference between
the Aer. and the CARC. But I don't need special equipment to spray
Aervoe-P., (i.e. avoiding nervous system damage).
I use Aervoe-Pacific Dark Green
Earth Brown
Black (Flat)
The vehicle that I painted first with these colors has been sold and
the new owner has still not had any problems with the paint, no fading
either! That seems to be the biggest complaint I hear about Aervoe-P.
Also, I think Aervoe is advertising a 383 series of paints, though they
aren't available locally yet.
