How can I tension my hand operated wipers so they don't fall straight down while driving? I put springs between the frame and hand cranks, but these were not enough. Both the frame and wiper assembly are repro. I had to hold the wipers up with a rubber band, because they were annoying. Does any have OD rubber bands? (just kidding) Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
