Dear antoine, and list,
About the cover bag for MP 48 antenna, (BG-108) the Us one is in black
waterproof canvas and the french one in green canvas not olive.

about the antenna canvas,(BG-56) 5 sections, I hacve an information that
the good place is behind the rear seat, (Emile Becker - Jeep book)

The correct number of mast antenna section are 2 for BC-620 (MS-50 and
MS-51) and 3 for BC-659 (MS-50; 51; and 52) never used more pieces. it's
great but not correct)

One other possibility is to install a SCR-694, like GRC9 but introduce
in US Army in 1944 (I believe..) the GRC9, only in 1949.(I believe too)
In normandy, Us army used in first BC620 20 Mhz to 27 Mhz and 659 27 to
38.
Some time, we find on picture BC 728 short wave receiver only.
The only picture I know for a 694 is on the back of a GI, in England
,just before to go in the boat for France.
Bc 1000 was uses too, but not in fix instalations.
SCR 193 was used too, but it's really a heavy heavy one
SCR 508 (BC 683; 684 ) was used, in M10, dodge ans Shermaan

All these information, are the TM one, in the reality, you can find
many, many manear for installation.
Radio, on the left side, on the right side, antenna vertical, with 45 °
since, the guy made what they can in the very very hard condition....

Regard's
