Here in France, most insurance Companies request that the reg number of the
vehicle to be indelebly marked on all windows.
This is done by many car accessory shops by sandblasting. They make a
stencil with a plastic auto adhesive sheet.
Try to ask a blank sheet, and cut your own "F" logo with an X-acto knife.
Safer than acid etching !
