While driving around yesterday I found a camo truck for sale near my house.
The data plate identifies it as a Studebaker Model M34. Date of manufacture
is '52. Serial number is M12847. It is a 6x6. The green camo paint looks
recent. The bed looks like plywood with a 2x8 or 10 side rail. The interior
is not that great with only a driver's seat. I didn't look under the hood.
The rubber is OK. There are no tail lights. Front lights look original. Very
small oil spot underneath to the rear of the front axle. No visible rust.
There is a 3" gash in the driver's side of the cab that penetrates all the
way through the metal. The owner is asking $5000 or trade.

I checked around and found out the new owner bought the truck at an auction
in Reno, NV for $3200 three weeks ago. Any idea of the value of this beast?
Is it worth 5K? This is a mountain area and 4x4's sell at a premium here.
