I think the problem here is pulley alignment.This was(and still is)an issue on
CUCV
trucks.Shimming the driven accessory(alternator,power steering pump)fore/aft
and
curing angular misalignment(twisted mounting)will cure your belt squeal.I had
this problem
with my CUCV and after many applications of 'belt dressing' to no avail,tried
an in-depth
analysis of the problem.Aligning these pulleys is a real job,but when
finished,will eliminate
your problem.The power steering pump is a real bugger to align.Take some time
and
do it right,and barring other complications,it will not squeal.
