[MV] Unknown part

I recently found an electrical truck part that I cannot ID. Was found with
seats I believe to be from FMTV. The part measures 1 7/8 in. x 1 1/4 in.
oval, 1 in. thick. OD plastic with a screw hole on each end. In the middle of
front is a black circle 1/2 in. dia. marked " T/C" , from back are 2 wires a
ground marked #57, and a male
Lock
connector with rubber cover marked # 511. I believe this to either be a
sensor or a magnetic switch of some kind. Thanks in advance to anyone who may
know. It's not critical that I find out, but I hate to not know what it is. I
like a good mystery.
