I have been wondering for a long time why the MVPA presence on
the 'Net was so "modest", given the scope of its mission and the
size of the Membership... Now, the recent developments exposed
on "Mil-Veh" give a full explanation: It's all about control, or
the fear of losing it...
No one, no entity can ever control the Internet: some will try,
but in the end they will have traded about 0.5% restrictive
efficiency for severe recurring headaches...
That IS the beauty of the Internet as a broadcasting tool: it
knows no masters, it has no borders, it cannot be silenced... In
the end it IS the 21st Century voice of the people.
