How to go about straightening them depends on where they're bent.
I had some M38 wheels with the centers bent by a tire machine. I
took a spare drum and hub and bolted it to the wheel with the lug nuts.
Then, with a block of wood on the edge of the drum, I hammered it till
straight. I would put a straight edge across the drum to check the
distance to the edge of the wheel all the way around. I had to use an
air impact wrench on the lugs. Might sound stupid, but it worked on
all five wheels. A final check was made with the wheel mounted on a
Jeep by rotating the wheel and holding a piece of chalk near the edge
of the wheel, thus marking spots needing more work.
