Just to butt in here - The Simonides Group will be at Beltring with a
Marquee. We are planning to do some military history presentations, hold
our AGM etc. and anyone who wants to doss overnight[s] in the Marquee is
welcome. We should have our own showers there as well. It depends
whether we can stretch the budget to a water trailer before then!
Among the presentations we are planning to do are some on Military
vehicles. If you would like to give a talk on some aspect of military
vehicles [expenses paid] then please tell us - it can be anything from
history of a vehicle[s] to how-to-do.
For those with an eye to hardship we are planning on running a tour of
european armour museums straight after Beltring its a museum-a-day thing
so if your into a 'this is tuesday so this must be france' type of
holiday then this is for you. More details on our web site.
