There were 81,942 Station Wagons & Staff Cars made by Canada up to Sept 1,
1945. (ref. Bill Gregg's CANADA'S FIGHTING VEHICLES Europe 1943-45). I do
not know how many of these were the wagons.

C11ADF station wagons are RARE! Only 1 and a 1/2 survivors known to me in
Canada.

1. See Field Marshall Alexander's one, made into a convertible in North
Africa. Now in Canadian War Museum in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Has WRONG WD
number on hood (bonnet) as restorer did not record it, but apparently
translated from Arabic on licence plate which was in error (ref. Bill
Gregg). They also incorrectly identify it as a "Ford Sedan" and talk of
impregnability (nonsense as far as I know). CWM was told of these errors
over a year ago but have refused (by action, not words) to correct the web
site - they also have errors on HUP page etc.

2. There is a restored Ford Station Wagon in the UK - rigged as an
ambulance. I think it is a C11ADF. Photo was in a back issue of "Wheels &
Tracks".

3. Harry Eisenman of British Columbia had the chassis of one, and a US Navy
"Woody" station wagon body (Left hand Drive) to use in the restoration. Many
years since I talked to him so do not know current status.
