>From my experience with BATF (Treasury Department), they tend to take
forever to come to any kind of a decision. Their Director is resigning
effective Dec 31, so there may be an additional wait pending the arrival of
a new director.

It seems ridiculous that Treasury thinks that some armoured vehicle, top
speed 50+ mph, is more dangerous than a 500+ mph military aircraft. Our
government at work, trying to protect us from ourselves.
