As a member of the EAA in addition to the MVPA I am very pleased that the
warbirds will be allowed back in. I always enjoy them at all the airshows I
attend. Although I do own several vehicles, my hopes of owning a plane with
history went South some time back.

BUT......... being a pessimist at heart, I also know that there is
considerable more clout, from the high density of money and influence in the
ranks of those who can afford to own them, than there is in this hobby. Do
not misunderstand, I am glad there is, as we all benefit from it. I just
wish the vehicle hobby were the same way.

I also have to wonder if our MVPA has been in contact with the EAA to take a
lesson or two, or if they are still sitting on center and wringing their
hands over making waves. Is there any contact at all with Washington? Or
will our one and only group representation let the hobby quietly wither and
die?

Please .........someone tell me I am wrong.

Bob
