Thanks guys for the info on early GPW (Script) differences. It was
helpfull to know what to look for. I ended up buying this jeep. It was
a Script Ford that was in pretty decent shape I think you would call it
Parade ready. It had some of the goodies on it and was missing others.
It did have combat wheels on it which is always a plus. I forgot to get
the serial number off of it but I did see the date of delivery was 5 May
1942. Unfortunate it does not have all the matching numbers. For myself
I was more interested in a nice looking and running GPW or MB and was not
looking for the 100 pointer with a 100 pointer price. That may come some
day later.
